Castle Pines Athletics would like to welcome the American Academy family to our community! As we await the completion of the new school, spend a week in August reuniting with old friends, and meeting new American Academy families that will join the school this fall.

Castle Pines Athletics is offering a week-long summer camp designed exclusively for American Academy kids ages 5 and up. The camp will be led by Coach Joe Bishop, physical education instructor for American Academy, along with other AA teachers.

The camp will feature different sports each day, along with exciting outdoor activities. The entire week will be full of organized games, relays, sports, and more! A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the American Academy PTO to assist with purchasing new equipment for the physical education program.

A nut-free snack, a nut-free sack lunch, and athletic shoes are required. T-shirts will be provided. Don’t forgot the sunscreen and water bottle.

8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

August 17 to August 21
Fees:
$195.00 for the first child
(5 day camp - $7.80 per hour; or $40 per day)
($180.00 each additional child)
Discounts:
$120.00 per child for all parent volunteers who wish to work 25 hours at the camp and assist with the program. Parent volunteers must work the full week.

Watch for an e-mail with a confirmation of your enrollment and a receipt for your payment. Campers will NOT be permitted to attend camp unless ALL forms have been completed and turned in. Class sizes are limited. Summer camps are available on a first come, first serve basis only.

NOTE: Your registration will not be complete without full payment.

Campers will NOT be permitted to attend camp unless all forms have been completed and turned in.

Class sizes are limited. Summer camps are available on a first come, first serve basis only. Your registration will not be complete without full payment.

Any registration cancellations must be made at least three (3) weeks prior to the first day of any registered week of camp in order to receive a 50 percent (50%) refund. Any cancellations after that date are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Medical emergencies require written doctor documentation are subject to a FULL refund.

Requests for transferring camp weeks will be granted based only on availability. There are no guarantees as classes are expected to fill quickly.

If your child is asked to leave camp due to disciplinary reasons, you will NOT receive a refund or a credit for another camp.

A $25 processing fee will be charged for all returned checks.

  • Bring a large water bottle with your name clearly marked on it.
  • Sunscreen (for re-application only); Make sure to apply before you arrive.
  • Wear athletics shoes or sneakers.
  • Wear shorts and camp t-shirts.
    (shirts will be handed out on the first day of each camp)
  • Bring a nut-free snack.
  • If attending Camp Castle Pines, make sure to bring a sack lunch that is also nut-free.
  • On the last day of Camp Castle Pines, bring a beach towel - - you will get wet!
  • A tote bag or backpack with your name on it is recommended to help keep your things together.
  • A big SMILE!

What NOT to bring to Camp:

  • No crocs, flip-flops, sandals, or “wheelie” shoes are allowed.
  • No cell phones, other electronic devices or video games.
  • No pets please.
  • No friends or siblings are allowed to participate unless they are enrolled in the camp program.
